Studying Medicine in Australia has gained international prominence due to the rigorous training its students go through. Training focuses on problem-based learning. 1. Australian National University

Location: Garran, Australian Capital Territory, Australia

The Australian National University was established in 1946 and is the only university created by the Federal Parliament. Its creation came after a discussion among administrators and intellectuals. The university is a national research university with its main campus housing seven research and teaching colleges. The foundations of the John Curtin School of Medical Research were laid in 1949 together with foundations of the University House and Research School of Physical Sciences. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees along with several professional development courses. The degrees offered by this cheap medical school in Australia focused on several subject areas, including Health and Medical Studies, Business and Commerce, and Law and Legal Studies, among others.

2. University of Western Sydney

Location: Kingswood, New South Wales, Australia

While the University of Western Sydney was officially established in 1989, its history dates back to 1891 with the establishment of the Hawkesbury Agricultural College. The university is an amalgamation of different campuses located in several areas in New South Wales. It became the University of Western Sydney following the passing of the University of Western Sydney Act by the New South Wales Parliament in 1988. Its main campuses are located in Geelong Waterfront, Geelong Waurn Ponds, Burwood suburb, and Warrnambool. The university also has a Cloud Campus for students looking to study online. 4. University of Adelaide

Location: Adelaide, South Australia

The University of Adelaide is the third-oldest university in Australia. Established in 1874, the university is the first Australian university to grant degrees in science courses. In 1881, it became the first Australian university to accept women to academic courses. The university was also the first university in Australia to establish a Chair of Music and Conservatorium of Music. In 1918, it became the first university to grant the Doctor of Music degree to a woman. The University of Sydney was established in 1850 and is the first university in Australia. It is also considered as one of the leading universities in the world. The university is also one of the six sandstone universities in Australia or the oldest tertiary education institutions in the country. Among the notable alumni of this cheap medical school in Australia were seven prime ministers, three chief justices, and two governors-general. Moreover, five Nobel laureates are also associated with the university. Its main campus is located in the suburbs of Camperdown and Darlington. It also has satellite campuses in Cumberland, Camden, and Rozelle. 6. University of Tasmania

Location: Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

Established in 1890, the University of Tasmania is the fourth oldest university in Australia. Its foundation followed the abolition of overseas scholarships and played the role of the Tasmanian Council for Education.  While its first few decades of existence was precarious, it was able to award its first Doctor of Philosophy in 1949. Its campuses are located in three main regions of Tasmania and take advantage of the geographical features of the region. 7. Monash University

Location: Clayton, Victoria, Australia

Monash University was established in 1958 and is the second oldest university in the State of Victoria. It is the first university named after a person, Sir John Monash, a prominent general in Australia. It has four campuses in Australia and four international campuses based in Malaysia, China, Italy, and India. The university is home to several prestigious research centers, including the Australian Stem Centre, Monash Law School, and the Monash Science Technology Research and Innovation Precinct. Aside from Medicine, the university also offers courses in Education, Information Technology, Science, Law, and Business, among others.
